ProFitness

• Jared opened Profitness because of a love for fitness, sports, and a desire to serve. One of Jared's main missions was to develop a company that could serve the local community for decades. Jared is very proud that, even with his exit from the company, Profitness is still running strong. 

• Profitness serves everyday people wanting to improve their health and fitness. Jared's main responsibilities on the business side related to the growth of the venture (i.e. sales, marketing, promotions, advertising). He also specialized in sports strength and conditioning, and specifically training amateur and professional golfers. 

• Jared's interest in entrepreneurial pivoting stems from challenges he faced during the 2008 financial crisis. While several local gyms went out of business, Jared decided to redirect various aspects of the business model to accommodate the shifting economic landscape.  In doing so, Profitness not only survived the financial crises, but also had their highest revenue and growth from 2009-2011.

ProThings

• Jared joined his brother's business to help the business grow. His brother had expertise in manufacturing apparel, yet desired to increase the overall rate of business growth. As with his role in Profitness, Jared's main responsibilities at Prothings related to sales, marketing, etc. 

• ProThiings provides high quality, specialized apparel that is catered primarily to motor sports industry. 

• Moving from the fitness industry to the apparel industry was challenging for Jared, as he had to learn about the apparel needs within the motorsports industry.
